There was a time I chased respect the wrong way. There was a time I chased respect the wrong way. I wanted to be known for being bad. Feared. Recognized. Untouchable. I thought that made me somebody. But God. He found me in the darkness. Loved me when I didn’t love myself. Accepted me when I felt too far gone. He gave me what the streets never could— real identity, real peace, real purpose. Today I had the honor of sharing that story on my friends’ show, Ron & Deb Unplugged. And I shared things I’ve never shared before. Raw things. Painful things. Powerful things. I didn’t deserve a second chance. I didn’t ear I didn’t deserve a second chance. I didn’t earn a new beginning. My life should’ve gone a completely different way.
